"The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, crying out, 'Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!'" (John 12:12,13). "What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews?” Pilate asked them. 'Crucify Him!' they shouted. 'Why? What crime has He committed?' asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, 'Crucify Him!' Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified" (Mark 15:12-15). "Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd" (Exodus 23:2). Subscribe to this podcast feed.
